Hi, we’re Jake & Kayla. We currently reside in sunny South Florida, though we are born and raised Pennsylvanians. We weren’t always Christians – as a matter of fact, the early years of our marriage were founded on lust, lies, fulfilling the desires of the flesh, and selfish ambitions.

In 2010, we started attending church. A pregnancy full of uncertainty, a church split, pornography addiction, and workaholism kept us from completely devoting ourselves to the Lord. Church was not who we were, it was something we did – another check off the weekly to-do list.

A few years later, while standing at her mom’s casket, Kayla decided that she was tired of playing church. There, she devoted her heart and life to the Lord. And honestly, our lives haven’t been the same since!

Now that we've devoted our lives to Christ, we've experienced a significant amount of healing and restoration in our personal lives, in our marriage, and within our family.

As a preteen boy whose parents had just divorced, Jake started attending a youth group in his hometown community.  While he had amazing experiences, like attending large youth conventions, or building homes with Habitat for Humanity, nothing numbed the pain in his life - so he quit attending.

At one time, he struggled with suicidal thoughts, and battled thoughts of worthlessness and failure.  Today, after finding Christ, his desire is to eventually mentor and encourage teens whose parents are going through separation or divorce.

Jake is talented in wood-working, loves fishing and bowling, and one day hopes to own his own business.  While it's not likely that he'll ever publicly speak at an event, he enjoys being the backbone of the operation.

Kayla is passionate about empowering people to find their self-worth, which is founded in Christ.  Recognizing how wounds of the past and labels placed on her during childhood defined her into adulthood, she took the step to attend the first year of ministry school with the Assemblies of God.  Moving to Florida prohibited her from finishing her ministry education, but she continues to seek, serve, and grow in the Lord.

Kayla received her Faith Based First Responder Level 1 Critical Incident Stress Management certification in March 2016.  Currently she works for a Christian film production company, where she is given the opportunity to minister to individuals around the world through the means of email and Live Chat.  She desires to speak publicly, author a book or two, and spend time ministering to individuals face to face.

We truly believe that God can make anything brand new when He is given full permission - and we are praying for healing, restoration, and reconciliation for you!

Who We Are

Meet Our Family

We are so blessed to be called dad and mom by these three amazing kids!

We welcomed Emilie (center) into our lives only nine and half months after we married.  She enjoys playing the flute and baton twirling competitively.

Tommy (left) entered our lives eleven months later.  Known by many as "Smiley", he has a heart to serve others - whether he's carrying groceries for someone, walking dogs, or helping to load a moving truck.

Caleb (right) is sweet, spunky, and our miracle - having defied the odds in utero.  He enjoys playing the violin, and creating his own comic book characters - which he calls "Super Hubs".
